NTR lifted Jai from Puri? Bobby clarifies

An English-language national daily has quoted a source saying that the character of Jai from 'Jai Lava Kusa' was the brainchild of Puri Jagannadh. The director was the first to discuss the character with NTR, the source claims.
In effect, since the same character with similar traits is in Bobby's film, the suspicion falls on NTR!
Given NTR's clean track record, he can't be said to have plagiarized Jai's character from Puri's script. Director Bobby has been quoted saying by the same newspaper that Jai was always part of the original script.
It's inconceivable that one of the triple roles can be smuggled from another script. Triple roles, especially a villain, is organic to a script. It can't be a cut-and-paste job.
NTR and Bobby seem to be innocent in this regard.
