Tollywood luminaries embraced the Festival of Lights, Diwali, with unparalleled enthusiasm, setting off fireworks and gracing various gatherings. The festive fervor reached its pinnacle when Mega Star Chiranjeevi and Mega Power Star Ram Charan hosted an extravagant Diwali bash, creating a lively atmosphere that left all of Tollywood in high spirits. Notably, this marked the inaugural Diwali celebration for Ram Charan and Upasana, as well as Varun Tej and Lavanya Tripathi's premier festival post-marriage.
The social media sphere buzzed with vibrant images capturing the Diwali revelry, including the snapshots of NTR's joyous celebrations with his wife Lakshmi Pranathi and their sons Abhay and Bhargav, which went viral. As the curtain falls on the Diwali festivities, attention swiftly turns to the much-anticipated next schedule of NTR's upcoming cinematic spectacle, "Devara."
Announcing the resumption of filming, the makers shared, "After a brief festive hiatus, our dedicated team is back on set for another epic schedule. #Devara Part 1 - A grand cinematic extravaganza set to unveil on April 5th, 2024."
The current epic schedule is in full swing, with shooting locations spanning Shamshabad, the Aluminum Factory, and a soon-to-be visit to RFC. Janhvi plays the female lead, opposite Saif Ali Khan in the antagonist's role. The film boasts a stellar ensemble cast including Prakash Raj, Shine Tom Chacko, Srikanth, Murali Sharma, Kalaiyarasan, and others in pivotal roles. The ambitious project is a collaboration between NTR Arts and Yuvasudha Arts, backed by the musical genius Anirudh Ravichander.
Drawing inspiration from real-life incidents, director Koratala Shiva aims to showcase NTR in an unprecedented powerful role loaded with intense emotions and screenpresence , a glimpse of which has already set social media abuzz with the striking first look, escalating anticipation for this cinematic spectacle.This happens to be NTR's first after the sensation he created with Rajamouli's magnum opus RRR.
