Joining a super big-ticket club is a coveted accomplishment in a feat-hungry industry like Tollywood. NTR may not be after feats, but his fans have for long wanted their matinee idol to join the Rs. 50 cr. club.

As such, Baadshah's failure to make the cut by a not-so-huge margin (it fell short of Rs. 3 cr) was a matter of some disappointment. Ever since that film, NTR has been awaited to join the league of five Telugu stars: Ram Charan (Magadheera), Pawan Kalyan (Gabbar Singh and Attarintiki Daredi), Mahesh Babu (Dookudu and Srimanthudu), Allu Arjun (Race Gurram), and Prabhas (Baahubali).

NTR has become the sixth Telugu star to achieve this feat. Nannaku Prematho has thrived on the virtue of being a big release this festival season. Though it opened to mixed talk, the film has been going great guns ever since Day 1.
