A few weeks ago when Bigg Boss Tamil faced criticism for the insensitive portrayal of mentally-retarded people, the reality show's host, Kamal Haasan, clearly registered his displeasure and even said that he will quit the show if such things were to get repeated.

On Bigg Boss Telugu, NTR has done something similar. On the Saturday's episode, the star host expressed his heart-felt outrage over violence against women. He did it in the context of disciplining Shiva Balaji, who had playfully pushed around Hari Teja in a recent episode.

Even such aberrations subtly send out the message that women are fair game. NTR took note of the unacceptable behaviour and said this much that such rashness towards women is regressive.
