It has been reported in sections of media that the two NTR biopic movies are a hot thing in the US. This is the first time that a Nandamuri Balakrishna movie has been demanded like crazy in the overseas market.

It's now official that the overseas theatrical rights of 'NTR-Kathanayakudu' and 'NTR-Mahanayakudu' have been bought by US Telugu Movies for a massive amount of about Rs. 20 Cr.

The two films should pull off a combined gross of about USD 4.5 million for the distribution company to attain break-even. For perspective, even 'Gautamiputra Satakarni' (the biggest overseas hit in Balayya's career) made USD 1.5 million.

The first part will head to theatres on January 9. The second part will hit the screens on January 24.
