The Filmfare awards for south Indian films would be announced Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium in Chennai on Saturday night and would be awarded to the winners.

A plethora of emotions in the form of ecstatic joy, tears at being recognized after years of hard work and a sense of general acceptance reigned supreme at the well planned out awards ceremony.

There will be five entries in each section and of them one would be selected. It is learnt that NTR bagged the 'Best Hero' award for his performance in 'Yamadonga'. The film had hit the screen in August last year and remained a blockbuster in NTR's career.

Likewise, Ram Charan also bagged the Filmfare award as the 'Best Debut Hero' for his performance in 'Chirutha'.
