YSRCP MLA from Gudivada, Kodali Nani, is of the firm opinion that a Nandamuri family member alone can save the TDP from being going out of existence.  Speaking to the media, he has said that Jr NTR should take up the cudgels and lead the TDP, without which the party will "disappear" from the political map of Andhra Pradesh by 2024.

Kodali Nani concedes that NTR may not join politics at this moment of his career.  However, if he joins, TDP will survive.  If not, it will die.  This is a laughable opinion.  

Even after the failure of Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan, the premium placed on the charisma of film stars doesn't go away for some.  What makes Nani think that NTR can be a saviour of TDP? Has NTR got any proven credentials that can make us think that he can be better than a Chandrababu Naidu?  NTR proved to be a very good orator during his campaigning trail in 2009.  Let it be noted that Pawan Kalyan, who too is a very good orator, has literally failed to save Jana Sena and himself in the recent elections.
