A day after unveiling Rana Daggubati's Chandrababu Naidu look from 'NTR', the makers have on Thursday given the fans out there a double bonanza in a single pic. It's that of Balakrishna (as NTR) and Rana.
The film is understood to tell the 1984 coup against NTR in detail. The former AP CM (read NTR) is seemingly appreciating the current AP CM's (read Naidu) stratagems in the still. What did Naidu do in 1984? "He got the chance to show his political skills in August 1984, when Nadendla Bhaskara Rao staged a coup against NTR. He rallied the TDP MLAs together, and paraded them before the President of India. NTR was reinstated as the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh 31 days later. Impressed with his son-in-law's manoeuvres, NTR appointed Naidu as the General Secretary of the party and he began playing an important role in the TDP after Rao's coup attempt," says a Wiki post.
Taking note of the still, AP Minister Nara Lokesh has said that past is a treasure for the future generations. "It's nothing but an adventure that the story of two legendary politicians is being told on the silver screen. It's a great thing that the past is being recreated for this biopic. This poster reflects the great efforts being put up by Balayya mavayya, Rana and the whole team," Lokesh tweeted out.
The biopic will be a Sankranthi 2019 release.
