NSYNC's Epic VMAs Reunion with Taylor Swift Sparks New Music Speculation

This shocking surprise appearance from some of the biggest pop icons left both Taylor Swift and her fans on their feet, chanting at the 2023 VMAs in the Prudential Centre in Newark, New Jersey. After an awkward silence as Lil Mama plunged into East Coast/West Coast beefs, Ice Spice pulled up Taylor Swift next to him as the five members came out for their reunion. Variety pointed out that the boyband had turned heads and wore stylish shades of blue, grey, and white as they reflected on their VMA videos and reconnected with their fan base after nearly two decades.
Then they introduced the Best Pop Award and teased Taylor Swift, probably as the recipient, for her hit single Anti-Hero, which came later in the night. They exchanged a few laughs with her for the first time. Thatâs when Swift was so glad to grab a friendship bracelet from one of the guys in NSYNC. Once an ardent fan of theirs, she even told them seriously, I had your NSYNC dolls!
As the night progressed and she got more occasions to further melt everyone with her song performances and thank-you speeches, even the VMAs also glowed up when she shed joyful tears while winning two top honours, again making another significant part of those special moments that day and night.
And, before that, online rumblings have been growing for weeks about the return of music from NSYNC. Rumours claim the guys have recorded a new song written by Justin Timberlake for âTrolls Band Together,â the upcoming DreamWorks animated film. The movie teases the story of Timberlake's character Branch bringing together a boy band reunion, with all four members of NSYNC expected to show up.
And now posters bearing NSYNCâs iconic logo and an animated troll hairdo have popped up in Los Angeles, further fueling excitement about the prospect of the group returning with new music.
Trolls Band Together will also include a cast that includes NSYNC, as well as Anna Kendrick and Camila Cabello, Troye Sivan, Kid Cudi, and Daveed Diggs, among others, who will star in the franchise for the first time.
