Young Tiger NTR's latest release Nannaku Prematho has taken the overseas box office by storm on its release day. The film has raked in around Rs 2.31 crore ($346,056) from the premiere shows in over 70 locations in US. Compared to NTR's previous outings, this number is phenomenal and a record so far among the actor`s films.

According to reports, the film has raked in $220k on the first day in reported screens and has already registered half-million dollars collection in overseas. Considering that the film was extensively shot in abroad and the story revolves around the bond between father and son, who are NRIs, apparently the overseas audience are showing a lot of enthusiasm and lapping up Nannaku Prematho.

According to trade analysists predictions, the film is expected to collect about 2 million dollars in the final run.
