The other day, a police complaint was lodged in Andhra Pradesh against the Devi Sri Prasad-composed 'Oo Antava' for allegedly portraying men as lustful creatures. The Tamil version of the song is now in trouble for a similar reason.
The Tamil song, titled 'Oo Solriya Oo Oo Solriya', has been a huge hit, much like the Telugu version. Today, a men's outfit named Association for Men's Protection in Tamil Nadu has sought a ban on the song, claiming that it hurts the sentiments of men and degrades them.
The outfit has warned that if the so-called objectionable song is not purged out, legal action will be taken against Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who features in the song alongside Allu Arjun, and others associated with the much-awaited movie.
In another piece of news, Allu Arjun and team are currently in Chennai to promote the Tamil version of the Sukumar directorial. Several producers and directors such as 'Siruthai' Siva are in attendance. They expressed hope that Bunny's stardom takes off in a big way with the December 17th release in Tamil.
