You don't need to be a Telugu film expert to say that Uday Kiran’s career hinges on Abaddam.

It is his make or break movie.

He understands that is why he has given all that he has in it him.

Directed by veteran K Balachander and produced by Prakash Raj, the movie stars newcomer Vimala Raman as heroine.

This bilingual is named Poi in Tamil.

Uday, whose career too a fateful turn sometime back, says he has a thing to prove. He also knows that the odds are against him. But he is not unfazed. As he says it is only in tough times you realize the strength in you.

Uday is slowly coming to grips with his reality and is more than happy with the way the film has shaped up.

He says it has been pleasure working with Balachander. He also speaks in glowing terms about Prakash Raj.

Abaddam is set for release in March while the audio would hit the markets in February.

Uday hopes to vindicate the faith that Prakash Raj has reposed on him.
