A long and disappointing season in Tollywood is veering to a close.
Almost all the main releases slated for the season have run their course.
Till Super, which was released this week, Tollywood has had nothing much to celebrate.
And that leaves us with just Athadu --- the lone survivor of it all.
This Mahesh Babu is next big thing before the 'official summer season' comes to an end.
And save for dubbed releases, Tollywood has not had much to celebrate.
So both Mahesh Babu and Tollywood are hoping that Athadu would buck the trend and finish on grand glory.
On the face of it, Athadu has impressive credentials --- mahesh and Trisha in the lead, great action sequences, good music from Mani Sharma, good direction from Trivikram Srinivas and splendid visuals.
But will it suffice? Wait till next month.
