Now Ishq attracts Kolly/Bolly attention

Thanks to Vikram K Kumar's unique portrayal of the romantic track in Ishq, the film is attracting the attention of Kollywood and even Bollywood. The movie may well be remade in Tamil, and it is likely that the producers will laugh their way to the bank, given the demand for its remake rights.

Nitin and his makers might have least expected that the film will attract so much attention. It may be far-fetched to think that Bollywood is enamoured of the film as much as Kollywood, but it is definitely an achievement for a film made with unassuming intentions.

PC Sreeram's cinematography was in no small way responsible in making Ishq look refreshing. The film doesn't boast of novelty in story, but it is the feel that is its biggest asset.

It may be noted that Ishq is doing quite well in urban centres. In the US, its second week collections set new records. Into its third week, the film is still going strong in A-class AP and US.
