Prominent production house AK Entertainments on Friday announced that 'Shadow', the novel series written by Madhu Babu, will be adapted into a web series.  The banner, known for big-ticket films like 'Sarileru Neekevvaru', is going to debut on the OTT platform with this show.

"We are very happy to announce our foray into the OTT platform with 'Shadow'.  Taking forward the legacy of the biggest hero of our Telugu novels by Madhu Babu, and bringing it to you in the visual form," the production house said.

"We thank the genius novelist for his approval to bring his work to your screens.  The series has been planned to match the quality and writing of any international series," the banner added.

Anil Sunkara is delighted.  "You read about him in the 20th century. You will now see him with the same attitude in the 21st century.  We thank writer Madhu Babu garu for trusting us to give a visual format for the biggest novel franchise of India," producer Anil Sunkara wrote.

The cast and crew of the series are yet to be made official.
