Hyderabad Commissioner CV Anand has stirred controversy by apprehending eight Nigerian individuals, including the son of a film producer and a former MP, in collaboration with the Narcotics Bureau and the Hyderabad Police. During a press conference, Anand expressed concerns over the film "Baby," criticizing its depiction of drug use.

He issued notices to the film's production team and vowed to closely scrutinize drug-related scenes in all movies. The accused were discovered engaging in activities resembling those portrayed in the film during a raid.

Anand emphasized the need for warnings in movies and declared his intent to serve a notice to the "Baby" producer. He highlighted specific objectionable scenes in the film and emphasized the police's commitment to monitor all films for similar content, following the film's box office success.
