Lest the alleged disagreement for professional reasons between Shruti Haasan and Gautami blow out of proportion, the Haasan daughter's spokesperson has stepped in to put the record straight. Saying that Shruti and the veteran actress, who has been close to Kamal and daughter for many years now, have shared and will continue to share positive equations, the spokesperson has talked about what exactly transpired recently during the making of the tri-lingual comedy Sabash Naidu in Los Angeles.

Shruti plays a "feisty girl with a devil-may-care-attitude" in this one and so, she needed a particular kind of styling with respect to costumes. In the event, the styling offered by Gautami didn't quite fit the bill and when Shruti conveyed the same, the "professional" Gautami did the needful by coming up with a new set of clothes.

The status is that the equations are normal as ever between Shruti and Gautami.

It was also added by the official statement that Gautami was very much present at Shruti's birthday bash in Chennai the other day. Their camaraderie, the spokesperson says, was there for all to see.
