'Nothing to fear' - Tamil Nadu Weatherman

Pradeep John aka the Tamil Nadu Weatherman has stated that today there will be many spells of rains with intermittent rests. However, he also stated that there is nothing to fear as 'nothing now looks threatening'.

Stating that the present streak of rains is not over yet, he has predicted that Chennai will see more rains with the possibility of intense spells coming Monday and Tuesday.

In addition to this, he also told that parts of south and western interior Tamil Nadu will welcome monsoon rains for the first time today.

Udumalpet, Pollachi, Sivagiri, Coimbatore, Tirupur, Dindigul, Tuticorin, Madurai, Tirunelveli, Ramanathapuram and Tiruvannamalai will see rains today according to the Weatherman. He has also asked to watch out for rains in the coming days in hill stations Coonoor and Nilgiris district.
