Nothing bad about playing a sex worker: Rashmi

Some onscreen roles face stigma for no rhyme or reason.  The role of a sex worker is one such example.  Rashmi Gautam, however, sees it otherwise.  

"Please watch 'Vedam'.  It’s a Telugu film and nothing disrespectful in playing a sex worker's role if only you knew what hardship those women in real life go through and hats off to all those actresses who took up those challenging roles," Rashmi says on Twitter.  

"Playing a SEX WORKER  is challenging and many established actresses have gained respect by playing those roles," she adds.
