Noted Actor Vijaya Ranga Raju Passes Away

The Telugu film industry woke up to the tragic news of the passing away of the noted actor Vijaya Ranga Raju alias Raj Kumar. Reportedly, Ranga Rajusuffered an injury last week while shooting for a film in Hyderabad. He was admitted to a private hospital in Chennai. Unfortunately, he breathed his last earlier today while undergoing treatment.

Raj Kumar was Vijaya Ranga Raju’s original name. He forayed into acting by performing in theatrical plays in Chennai. Eventually, he entered the film industry. His first film was Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Bhairava Dweepam. He was popular for his negative and supporting roles.

After a setback, he got a good comeback in his second innings with Gopichand’s Yagnam in which he played the role ‘Nayudamma’. Apart from Telugu, he also acted in various Malayalam and Tamil films.

Ranga Raju was also into weightlifting and bodybuilding fields. He survived with two daughters. Condolences are pouring in for the grieving family during this tough time. People are praying for Ranga Raju’s soul to rest in peace.
