The first pre-release event of 'NOTA' was held on Sunday in Vijayawada. As expected, Vijay Deverakonda led the event in his inimitable style. Gnanavel Raja, the film's producer, and Mehreen Pirzada, also graced the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Mehreen said, "I don't know what to say. Doing this film was a great experience. I am eagerly waiting for the release of 'NOTA'. I too am a fan of 'Arjun Reddy'. Acting opposite Deverakonda was a happy experience. He works really hard. I haven't seen a male co-star like him. 'NOTA' is arriving simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil. Telugu is like my mother. And I hope the Tamil audience, too, will accept me."
When it was his turn, the 'Geetha Govindam' actor electrified the crowds. "I have come to this city after a long time. It was during 'Yevade Subrahmanyam' that I had first come here. Everybody in the two Telugu states, especially the residents of Vijayawada, love both cinema and politics. And 'NOTA' is a cinema with a political subject. I am hoping that I will entertain you once again with this film," Deverakonda said.
"It's just four days away for the film's release. The film has got powerful dialogues," VD signed off.
The hall was not enough to pack in all the attendees, some of whom had to witness it standing outside. The Anand Shankar-directed movie releases on Oct 5.
