Not launching my party on April 14: Rajinikanth

There is no truth in the reports that Rajinikanth will launch his political party on April 14. The superstar has made this clear at his latest press briefing in Chennai on Tuesday.

In the wake of reports that he is a pro-BJP man, the 'Kaala' star said that he is not backed by the saffron party. "Only God and people are with me," he noted.  

The hot issue of Ram Rajya Rath Yatra was touched by him.  Saying that there should be no communal clashes over it, he described Tamil Nadu as a peaceful state.  He condemned the recent statements against Periyar's statues.  

The '2.0' actor said that he is at peace after the spiritual pilgrimage to Himalayan holy towns.
