Not joining politics: Gautam Gambhir

Gautam Gambhir, the 37-year-old cricketer who recently announced retirement from all forms of cricket, has clarified that he won’t be joining politics.  There have been rumours that he will join the BJP.

“I have no interest to join politics.  I do social work with the intention of changing lives,” he said.

Gambhir doesn’t feel bad about not getting to play a farewell match.  He says that farewell matches don’t matter at all.

The iconic sportsman has hailed the fact that women’s cricket is at an all-time high.  “Media is giving it attention these days,” he said.
