Not in with the times

Delays are part of Tollywood's everyday lexicon. It is not a new syndrome.
But the delay in a number of releases is not only causing concern about the work ethics but is also hitting the producers badly.
A spate of releases has already been put off for various reasons this year.
Among them include such biggies like Sankranthi, Manasu Mata Vinadu, Dhairiyam. Of course, the list is lengthy with many other offenders.
The delay usually is because of star dates and dubbing problems --- something that could be sorted out by better man-management and better professional work ethic.
Alas, that's what is missing in Tollywood. The net sufferer is the poor producer who ends up more interest for all the postponements.
