As reported by Korean state-run media, the supreme leader of North Korea, Kim Jong Un made an appearance at a May Day celebration making it his first public appearance in three weeks amidst numerous speculations about his health, post a surgery while some reports claiming his death.
The Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) has reported that Kim spoke at an event organised on eve of Labor Day and also inaugurated the Sunchon Phosphatic Fertilizer Manufacturing near Pyongyang.
Photos reported by North Korean media have a happy Kim at the ceremony cutting a red ribbon and inaugurating the factory along with his sister Kim Yo-jong. There were rumours last week on his health, after Kim missed the celebration of his grandfather's birthday on April 15.
