North Indian supporters of Pawan Kalyan have been trending the actor-politician's name on Twitter. The Hindi script of the name is found on the micro-blogging site with thousands of accompanying posts.
Most of the tweets have to do with the Jana Sena chief's political statements. His recent opinions against the now-withdrawn sale of TTD properties find a prominent mention in several tweets.
"Mark my words. This is going to be a deadly combination in future and can change the course of politics in telugu states (sic)," says a fan, referring to Narendra Modi and the 'Vakeel Saab' actor. From video clips of Pawan's energetic campaign speeches to hailing his charisma, you find a range of adulatory messages doing the rounds on Twitter.
A cursory look says that most of the panegyrics have been floated by the supporters of BJP in North India. Jana Sena, as is known, is an official ally of the saffron party.
