Noorin Shereef and Dharmajan to team up!

Actress Noorin Shereef, who shot to fame with her debut movie 'Oru Adaar Love', has been roped in to play an important role in Kannan Thamarakulam's next 'Maradu 357'. The movie is based on the sensational flat demolition episode in Kochi, Kerala. Noorin will be essaying the role of a girl who is a resident in one of the demolished apartments.
Talking about the film in an interview with a popular news daily, director Thamarakulm said, “The film will be a fictional visualization of the political corruption and financial illegalities that resulted in the demolition of the flats the housed so many people. We will look at how a big flat came up in a marshy land and the corruption around it. It will also look at the middle-class families, which formed about 10%, who lived here, and the lives of those who were employed in these flats. The film begins from the lives of families here and how things descended to despair."
For the first time in Dharmajan Bolgatty will be playing an important serious central character that will travel throughout the flick. Actors including Anoop Menon, Renji Panicker and Sheelu Abraham are also playing prominent roles.
‘Maradu 357’ is being produced by Abraham Mathew and Sudarsanan Kanjiramkulam. During the demolition, a team led by Ravichandran, the cinematographer, captured the controlled implosions method and also the live visuals. Dinesh Pallathu, who penned the script of Kannan’s previous movie ‘Pattabhiraman’, is helming the script of this film as well. Though the movie is based on true incidents, there will be added elements of fiction in the film.
