It is the worry of every Kannada film producer when top films from other languages make influx. For Sankranthi releases of Kannada films – Ko Ko Koli Kothi…of Bharani Minerals and Samy Associates 'Sidlingu' both investing Rs.6 crores each on the films is having tough time with two Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and English films in each languages appearing in Karnataka.

All rules are thrown out of the wind and curtailing the non Kannada films in prints and screens is resulting in the legal cases via Competition Commission of India. This is the worry for KFCC President KV Chandrasekhar who is a law graduate and practicing lawyer.

Victory Venkatesh Bodyguard, Mahesh Babu Businessman, Tamil star Vijay in Shanker direction 'Nanban' a remake of '3 Idiots', Vettai of Linguswamy are tough competitors with a few English and Hindi films this week.

KFCC instead of allocating right theatres for Kannada films by holding discussions gives ads saying last date for submitting applications for state award is so and so date.

Non Kannada films worth over 100 crores making very difficult in the side theatres for Rs.12 crore worth 'Ko Ko Koli Kothi and Sidlingu'.

The Kannada films like Vishnuvardhana, Sarathi, Shyloo and Shakthi are quite impressive in the collections. It becomes difficult for such films. A stage of removing Kannada films for new Kannada film is the option left.
