Pawan Kalyan was one of the guests at the pre-release event of 'Sye Raa'. Speaking on the occasion, he said that the film will be India's pride.
Here we bring you the highlights of Power Star's speech.
I am here as a fan, not as Chiranjeevi garu's brother. He always means well. Whatever I am today is because of him. When I flunked in Intermediate, I was driven to suicide. I wanted to kill myself with a pistol. He told me not to see exams as the yardstick of my abilities. That instilled courage in me.
Ram Charan has made a film that the country can be proud of. Despite being elder to him, I couldn't do that. He invested hundreds of crores without self-interest.
'Sye Raa' is about moral values. The aroma of freedom we are enjoying is because of the sacrifices of great men like Bhagat Singh and Mahatma Gandhi. India has never invaded any country in its entire history. It has always stood for values.
After 'Khaidi' released and became a big hit, there came NTR garu's 'Viswamitra' and became a bigger hit. Experience matters more than anything else. Youngsters might break records but in terms of experience, nobody can beat Chiranjeevi garu.
I had lent my voice to the film 'Subhaleka'. Once again, I have done it for 'Sye Raa'.
'Sye Raa' talks about the greatness of Jana Gana Mana in a novel manner. Dialogue writer Sai Madhav Burra garu has given a great interpretation to the National Anthem.
It feels happy to see Rajamouli garu here. The nation is proud of 'Baahubali'. If anybody breaks records, I and my brother feel very proud. It's because we always mean well for everyone. It's because we are all Indians.
