Thalapathy Vijay's 'Leo' release is facing enough problems already. While the film is slated to hit the screens this Thursday, the film's trailer release controversy has now been reflected in a stunning decision by the Theatre Owners Association head Tirupur Subramaniam.
The makers of Leo launched the official trailer on October 5th. Many theatres across the state screened the trailer on their screens though it was uncensored. In some theatres, seats were damaged owing to the fans' celebration. These incidents courted controversies earlier as the theatres suffered a loss and they received notice from CBFC.
Now, the Theatre Owners Association head Tirupur Subramaniam has announced that theatres shouldn't screen movie trailers for the fans specially. Henceforth, only censored trailers will be screened during movie intervals like in old times. This news is now going viral on the internet.
