Aamir Khan is learnt to have decided not to agree to the release of 'Dangal' in Pakistan. The 2016 movie was never released when it hit the screens in India because of the ongoing ban on Indian movies and artistes there. Now that the ban has been lifted, Pakistani distributors evinced interest in the blockbuster movie.

Although they hoped to make several crores by bringing to Pakistanis Aamir's sports-family drama, the Censor Board's objection to the scene where the National Anthem is heard following Geeta Phogat's (Fathima Sana Sheik) victory has put a spanner in the wheel.

Aamir is reportedly not willing to edit out the scene. Given this and also since he is not willing to chop off the frame where the Tricolor flutters in glory, 'Dangal' won't see clearance by the Censor Board of that country.
