There is a sad news for the fans of the iconic ‘Silsila’ couple... Earlier news had been abuzz that the classic romantic jodi of Amitabh Bachchan and Rekha will be seen again on big screen after a long gap with Anees Bazmee’s forthcoming comedy caper ‘Welcome Back’. However, latest news is that it is not going to happen now.

Recently, in a media interaction, the director clarified that he has not approached Rekha for the sequel of ‘Welcome’. He even revealed that he has not even met the veteran actress in his life.

Anees said that although he is yet to confirm Big B for the project, he can think of no other actor to take place the role played by Feroz Khan in the original.

Currently the director has come back from Dubai after finalizing locations for ‘Welcome Back’, that stars John Abraham and Shruti Haasan in lead.

But hey, there's another hot gossip making its rounds... Talks are that Big B and Rekha might be reel couple for a project by Aditya Chopra..... Hmmm, let's wait to watch if this turns out to be true....
