'No Muslim delivery agent' lands Hyd man in trouble

A Hyderabad man named Ajay Kumar is in trouble because he recently refused to accept food delivery by a Muslim delivery executive working for Swiggy. Going into the details, Ajay Kumar had instructed Swiggy while placing the order that he will accept food only if it is delivered by a Hindu delivery agent.

Thanks to algorithms, his order was assigned to one Mohammad Mudassir Suleman. Since the delivery agent is a Muslim, Ajay Kumar bluntly rejected the order. A report says that the customer shouted at Suleman for turning up.

When Suleman approached Swiggy, things got even more problematic with the customer stubbornly insisting that he will uninstall the Swiggy app for failing to honour his preferences.

Suleman has now lodged a police complaint against the customer. It has to be seen if the customer can be charged under any IPC section.
