After acting in the first ever remake of Tamil cinema (‘Naan Avan Illai’) and its sequel (‘Naan Avan Illai-II’), Jeevan has decided not to act in remakes anymore.

“Acting in remakes is like walking on a tightrope. We don’t know when we fall. The risk factor is high for a movie when it is a remake. Hence I have decided not to be part of remakes in the future,” he says.

At the same time, Jeevan also says acting in films inspired by yesteryear blockbusters has its own advantages. “It will make one occupy news columns easily. Besides, the film is already a hit. So the success rate is high.”

On his forthcoming film ‘Krishnaleelai’, he says, “Produced by Kavithalaya, the movie directed by Selvan is a common man’s attempts to remove evil things from society. The film will be racy from the word go.”
