The makers of ‘Maharshi’ had planned to celebrate the 50-day run of the movie in 211 centres in the Telugu States. The event is supposed to be held on June 28. However, it now stands postponed indefinitely as it’s mourning period in Mahesh Babu’s family, following the death of Vijaya Nirmala.
Superstar Krishna and others in the family have been deeply saddened by the passing away of their beloved family member. VK Naresh, actor and Nirmala’s son, said, “Her body will be kept at our residence ( Nanakramguda) today from 11am Her final rites will be held on Friday.”
Sudheer Babu tweeted out, “A terrible day for my family. A pioneer, a legend and most importantly my mother like personality, #VijayaNirmala Garu made her way to the God. May her soul rest in peace.”
