After a whole series of films that portrayed actor Darshan as the violent guy, it is time for some relief. The actor will be seen minus the sword (macchu) in his forthcoming film Datta. The film also stars Ramya.

In Datta, which is a romantic film, Darshan plays a young guy obviously in love. Just because we've said there are no macchus it does not mean that there are no action scenes at all. In fact, one cannot imagine action-man Darshan not being part of fights on screen. Even Datta will have some to please his fans.

Darshan's also got a number of films lined up. His next release is Mandya which also stars Radhika and Rakshita.
