No Kannada films on Friday

The Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce has announced a decision not to screen any Kannada film on Friday in protest against the UFO and Qube attitude. Sa Ra Govindu KFCC President called upon exhibitors, distributors and distributors to cooperate in this regard.
Earlier no new film release on 9th of March was the announcement. Now the existing Kannada films screening called off by KFCC. This calling of films from theatres is applicable to only Kannada films. Other languages existing films continue screening without any hindrance.
The existing Kannada films that is affected with one day collection are – Tagaru, Pritiya Rayabhari, 3000, Sarkar…The bullet, Chinnada Gombe, Prema Baraha and Raju Kannada Medium.
As of now 8 Kannada films scheduled for release on 9th of March have deferred release on the call given by KFCC.
