No Ji for Pongal

One of the unexpected victims of the tsunami is the film G. The movie, directed by Linguswamy, was planned as a Pongal release.
Starring Ajith and Trisha in the lead, the movie was expected to be a big ticket one for its producers. Initially, it was delayed because Ajith concentrated on his racing career. Then it was delayed as Trisha was busy in Telugu.
Now when everything looked sorted with just one song pending, the film is stalled ---- as it happens, the song was planned to be shot in Phuket in Thailand. As everyone knows, Phuket was ravaged by the tsunami. Now a new location has to be chosen, before the song is canned.
