The long standing ambition of talented, good looking and well behaved actor Diganth has crashed all of a sudden. That is the Hindi project for Vikram Bhat production. Prachi Desai was selected as heroine. Now both Diganth and Prachi Desai are not part of the Hindi film team that produced film like ‘1920’.

The reason for Diganth to back out from Hindi cinema is for the acceptance of a Kannada cinema for Toogudeepa Productions ‘Onduralli Obba Raja Idda’ in the direction of Dinakar Toogudeep who directed Jothe Jotheyali, Navagraha and Sarathi Kannada films.

I was in Mumbai recently to take a final decision. The date clashing between Hindi and Kannada film is sole reason says Diganth Manchale. I want to take up Kannada project. Rachita Ram of ‘Bul Bul’ is my counterpart. The shooting is starting soon. For Hindi debut of Vikram Bhat I have even grown my hair and learning Hindi language to deliver it precisely on the sets. All of them are of no use now he says. I am not worried but the Hindi project getting delayed forced me to give up for Kannada film he admits.

Back home Dinakar Toogudeepa a very intelligent guy is brother of challenging star Darshan. ‘Sarathi’ of Toogudeepa was a super hit film. I feel happy even if Darshanji plays a guest role says Diganth. When Jothe Jotheyali was launched with Prem Kumar as hero for same banner Darshan acted in a guest role.

Diganth has finished controversial film ‘E Priti’ for Priya Bharathi as director and Kodi Ramakrishna film is stalled for quite some time. I have no news what happened to a very big project of Kodi Ramakrishna. Ramya is my co star in that Telugu film disclosed Diganth.
