A trendsetter! A style icon! And an ace actress! A perfect combo of talent and style!

She is none other than Kareena Kapoor who rightly deserves to be called the Queen of Bollywood! Besides back-to-back films that are keeping her busy and in news, Kareena is the only actress that top companies are vying for their brand endorsements. A-list companies want Kareena as their brand ambassador.

Kareena of course is very happy about the developments in her career. "I am happy about the way things are right now. I am enjoying every bit of my success. And though it is keeping me on my toes and barely giving me time for myself, I am happy that I am busy. Which actress wouldn't want to taste this kind of success," Kareena says.

Till yesterday it was only Aishwarya Rai and Sushmita Sen who were considered to be product brand ambassadors. It was believed that other actresses cannot do what Rai and Sen could. And the duo commanded an unbelievable price to model for products. But Kareena has shattered that myth. The actress got a whopping Rs. 5 crores for Vivel soap ad that marked the foray of the prestigious ITC group into soap brands.

Forget Aishwarya and Sushmita, Kareena is giving her male counterparts a run for their money as Shveta Brahma of Matrix Bay puts it, "She is the highest paid endorser and commands a price given only to male models."

Shveta adds, "Kareena is found to be an ideal choice when it comes to endorsing cosmetics, personal care products and jewellery. Kareena also spells class so when it comes to lifestyle products she is the obvious choice. But today Kareena is also a youth icon so companies sign her for products that target the youth."

Besides offers to be a brand ambassador, Kareena has practically had every production house worth its salt approach her for a film. But Kareena has been choosy and said yes to only Kambhqt Ishq with Akshay Kumar, Main Aur Mrs Khanna with Salman Khan, Idiots with Aamir Khan, Karan Johar's untitled venture with Saif and Agent Vinod that has Saif as her costar once again. Insiders have it Kareena is to soon a film with Shah Rukh Khan too. But the deal is being kept under wraps. SRK is special for Kareena. Being genuinely fond of Shah Rukh, Kareena did a special item number for Khan's Billoo Barber.

Of course, the high expectations scare Kareena. "Though I am happy with the way things are in my career right now I am scared too. I don't want to get into many slips-between-the-cup-and-the-lip situations."

Imtiaz Ali is penning down a script especially for Kareena. "I am writing a story keeping Kareena in mind," the director who has taken Kareena's remark at the award function very sportingly.

The director adds, "Kareena speaks her mind. So I was not surprised by her remark on stage. I was told different things about Kareena before I signed her for Jab We Met. I was told that she was the hot headed and arrogant Kapoor. But I realized that whatever I was told and whatever I had heard was mere myth. Kareena was a different person all together. "

Kareena adds, "At the same time I would like to say that I don't take all these things seriously. I just want to be a good actress and want people to know that I am passionate about films and that's why I am here. I did Jab We Met with a new director (Imtiaz Ali) because I was confident about the script and my role. I want to do substantial and noteworthy roles that will go down in the annals of history. I don't want to do films with top stars where I have nothing to do in it."
