All around her, it has been failures.

What started innocuously last year is now assuming biblical proportions as flops after flops is following Shriya in determined pursuit. Nen Unnanu, Arjun, Balu---ABCDEFG, Naa Alludu, Sada Mee Sevalo, Subash Chandra Bose the list is almost endless.

Any actress, in such a situation, would play it safe. Like an out of form batsmen, Shriya would look at getting the percentages right.

But she seems to be made of sterner stuff. She looks to have an all-too-rare buccaneering spirit. Otherwise, she wouldn't have done the experimental Mogudu Pellam O Dongodu.

Directed by Venky, the film has a long star cast of three including Shriya. Well, the other two are Raja, playing her husband and Brahmanandam, a thief. The film has been completed in 40 days and is one of the dark horses among May releases.

It is an interesting subject from somebody on the brink to choose. But it is such daring that wins the day many times. Shriya doesn't have the fear of failure.

Hence, failures don't affect her.
