KFCC President Sa Ra Govindu has received number of complaints on the recent Sathya Harischandra Kannada film because of its content. The classic film of Dr Rajakumar in 1960’s ‘Sathya Harischandra’ that was later brought in color by KCN Gowda is insulted from the present Sathya Harischandra of Sharan in Dayal Padmanabhan combination of producer K Manju.

Govindu received many complaint phone calls and letters. Some of them have told not to release this film. When the film got released we came to know it is even more pathetic for the great title ‘Sathya Harischandra’. At KFCC we have come to a conclusion not to give epoch making film titles to the present generation stated Govindu. When persons like Darshan ask for ‘Babruvahana’ we would discuss because for such a title he can do justice.

Govindu on the recent meeting at South Indian Film Chamber of Commerce brought to the notice the appreciation showered on Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah for giving full support to Kannada film industry. Govindu handed over the letter of appreciation to chief minister a few days ago.
