No electricity bill up to 200 units: Kejriwal

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has on Thursday announced that residents of the city-state needn't pay any electricity bill if their consumption is less than 200 units. The government has reduced the burden on other users as well.
"Households consuming up to 200 units of electricity need not pay any electricity bill. Consumers of 201-400 unit range will receive approximately 50% subsidy. Consumers who have paid Rs 622 for 200 units of electricity till now, have zero financial burden as per the new rates," Kejriwal said.
The bills for other slabs are: For 250 units, it is just Rs 252, down from Rs 800; for 300 units, it's just Rs 526, down from Rs 971; for 400 units, it's Rs 1,075, down from Rs 1,320.
