In the petition moved by Hakikat Entertainment Pvt Ltd against the order of the Deputy Commissioner, Mansa, Punjab; the Deputy Commissioner clarified in the Punjab and Haryana High Court that there was no ban of any sort and the previous circular was sent in error.

Hon`ble Justice Paramjeet Singh, who heard the petition, pulled up the administration orally, for passing frivolous orders of restraining the release of 'MSG 2'. The pall of suspicion hanging thereby on the status of 'MSG 2' release in Punjab has therefore been completely cleared. In another matter, the Delhi High Court ruled that the 'MSG 2' film trailer was in no way related to any specific tribe and was a film about aboriginals and hence, there was nothing objectionable in it. The petition opposing MSG was thus dismissed.

'MSG 2' the messenger released in cinemas today 18th September and is reported to running with pack houses.
