No, Ayurveda doctor from India didnt cure Prince Charles of COVID-19

It has been widely reported by sections of media that a Bengaluru-based Ayurveda doctor has treated Prince Charles, the heir to the British throne, for COVID-19. This has turned out to be fake news.

The claim was first made by Shripad Naik, Minister of State for AYUSH and Goa Lok Sabha MP. Since then, several media reports have quoted him.

The reports said that Dr. Isaac Mathai of the Soukya Ayurveda Resort in Bengaluru had cured Prince Charles through Ayurveda and homeopathy.

As per Hindustan Times, the claim is incorrect. As per the spokesperson of Prince Charles himself, the Prince had followed the medical advice of the National Health Service (NHS) in the UK. He never took Ayurveda or Homeopathy.
