Hardly one movie old, Ayushman Khurana is already throwing airs which in turn has got him into bad books of an experienced filmmaker...

Of late news is abuzz in the B-town that the handsome talented actor opted out of director Kunal Kohli’s project. Reason: There is no established actress paired opposite him.

It is said that initially the filmmaker had informed Ayushman that an A-list heroine will be cast as the leading lady of the film, however, after signing on the dotted line, the ‘Vicky Donor’ famed actor found that only a popular small-time actress will be co-starring along with him. Feeling disappointed, Ayushman said to have dropped the project.

On the other hand, Kunal is quite shocked over the actor’s attitude and couldn’t believe that Ayushman has so demanding, giving the fact that he has done only one film.

Angry over Ayushman’s behaviour, the director wrote on his micro-blogging site thus, "Ayushmans reasons were demeaning to other actresses. Sad a newcomer thinks likes that. Real stars/actors don't. Anyway, moving on :-) Also I was looking to produce a small film with him. Budget didn't work out. I'd rather concentrate on other projects....

Kunal also went on to clarify that he is now not directing the proposed Ayushman project and that he is feeling sad to the actor having taken such way to get publicity.
