After the recent Onam releases on theatres, the other big film to arrive to Mollywood with be director Ranjith's 'Njan'. Featuring Dulqar Salman in the lead, the movie is based on a novel titled 'K T N Kottur- Ezhuthum Jeevithavum' written by T P Rajeevan.

Director Ranjith has already announced that this will be a movie that is much different from all his previous endeavors, telling a story about a man who failed to become a distinguished figure. The movie is told in the backdrop of a silent Malabar village of Kottur. The movie will feature Anu Mol, Saiju Kurup, Muthumani,Suresh Krishna, and Joy Mathew in the lead roles. The movie is produced by Ranjith's own banner 'Gold Coin Motion Pictures'.

Earlier Ranjith had been with T P Rajeevan for the classic -' Palery Manickyam, oru Pathira kolapathakathinte Kadha'.
