Actor Nivin Pauly's personal make-up artist Shabu Pulpally passed away in a freak accident, on Sunday evening. The 37-year-old had reportedly fallen off from a tree while he was trying to hang a Christmas star. Though he was rushed to the hospital, Shabu was declared dead due to internal bleeding. His funeral was held on Monday afternoon.

Shabu is the brother of famous make-up artist Shaji Pulpally. He is survived by his wife Resmi and two children.

Shabu, who has been an integral part of Nivin Pauly's cinema career, has worked with several celebs for over many years. Nivin Pauly’s upcoming movie ‘Kanakam Kamini Kalaham’ was his last movie.

Many celebrities took to their social media handle to express their condolences on his untimely demise.
