If the reports are to be believed, Nivin Pauly's new movie 'Kayamkulam Kochunni' directed by Roshan Andrews, will start rolling on September first this year. The movie will be shot at the various locations of Kayamkulam and Sri Lanka. Nivin will be shedding few kilos and also learn Kerala's ancient martial art form Kalari Payattu for the film. More details are yet to be revealed!

The movie which is based on the 'Kayamkulam Kochunni' stories, in Aithihyamala, is scripted by the duo Bobby-Sanjay, who have been researching for over 2 years for the movie. Though there have been many versions of Kochunni's life stories, the upcoming venture will explore on how Kochunni turned out to be a rebel from a common man. The movie will also feature the love life of Kayamkulam Kochunni and a debutante will essay the female lead.

Produced by Gokulan Gopalan, for Sree Gokulam Films, the movie's music will be done by Kabali music director Santhosh Narayanan and sound designing by Baahubali sound designer Satheesh. Stay tuned for further updates!
