As per the latest reports, director Abrid Shine is planning to make a sequel to the Nivin Paul starrer 2016 movie 'Action Hero Biju'. In the movie, Nivin essayed the role of a police officer Biju Paulose. The movie directed by Abrid Shine was a trendsetter in Mollywood. Unlike a crime thriller or an action hero movie, the movie portrayed the life of policemen rooted in reality.

The police tale which featured Nivin in the role of a cop for the first time was a box-office hit and also won critical acclaims. As the movie was one of a kind in Malayalam cinema, the audiences are eagerly waiting for an official announcement about the sequel.

Abrid's latest release 'The Kung Fu Master' which featured a host of relative newcomers was an average hit at the box-office. On the other side, Nivin is awaiting the release of Rajeev Ravi directorial 'Thuramukham'. The actor is currently filming for 'Padayottam'.
